Aldea Zama is a great Tulum location, about a mile to the beach and downtown. Tulum pueblo with shops and more restaurants is less then a mile away. The Tulum ruins are minutes by car or bike and Gran Cenote is a few kms away. XelHa is 10 minutes from Tulum. Akumal is a 15 minute drive, 30 minutes to Playa del Carmen and Coba is an easy 45 minute drive. Valladolid is one hour by car.
There is so much to explore or you can hang out by the quiet pool and do nothing at all. It has always been a non-smoking unit and has a manager on site for your and your guests peace of mind.
